Text Box: About Fitzroy Fabrications Fitzroy Fabrications is a privately owned Australian company based in Cairns and servicing Queensland, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. We specialize in the fabrication of structural steelwork and manufactured steel goods for industrial, mining, commercial, government and aligned industries. Currently we have around 65 staff including workshop, project management, administration and site staff. Fitzroy Fabrications’ business premises covers an area of some 8,066 square metres, comprising offices, workshop and hardstand areas. The workshop was specifically designed to suit the business in 1995 and covers an area of 1,640 square metres. The office and administration sections are housed in a two story complex, comprising reception, drawing offices, meeting/training room, records and amenities and covers 340 square metres. The remainder of the area is dedicated to hard standing, shedding and parking facilities. Fitzroy Fabrications operates with an integrated quality management system that is built on the foundation of quality manufacture, objective testing and inspection, employment of high caliber staff and a philosophy of doing each task right the first time.
